The making of Mingo N Bumble came to me during the time of the thousands of indigenous children found buried in Western Canada in 2021. It was also the time of BLM - (Black Lives Matter) movement and protesters. I felt something had to be done. A message for children as well as parents that being different is unique and makes us special in our own way. It was when I drew a picture of a Flamingo and Bumblebee and the idea came to me, That is a way to reach a vast audience and share my message.
